Eclipse

Eclipse

The moon and the sun on average, is about 150 million kilometers apart from each other. The sun is roughly 400 times larger than the moon, the sun we see during the day, and the moon appears at night, etc.. The moon rotates around the sun, and every hundred years or so, caused by the force synchronous rotation of the earth and moon, despite their distance and differences, they meet and a total eclipse happens.
Similarly.. We grew up in different cultures and backgrounds. With painting, one prefers to paint roughly, the other smooth, etc.. and despite our differences, because of “art”, we ended up meeting at an art gallery (our first eclipse.. yeehee 😊 ).
After years of being friends, getting married , having a son ,painting as our source of living and many art exhibitions done,now.. as husband and wife, this will be our very first two-man (one man, one woman 😊) show together. An Art Eclipse. WEEEEEEE

Panagbenga by Guhit Kulay

Guhit Kulay, a creative group composed of Filipinos who are working abroad, has finally brought its members’ artworks home for fellow Filipinos to view, explore, and enjoy.
Inspired by the different festivals all over the country, most specially by the “Panagbenga,” the artist members of Guhit Kulay present works that remind them of the joyful festivities that they grew up participating in and loving.
They may be far from home, but love for the unique and rich culture and people of our mother country runs strongly in their veins.
