On May 2019 ,Lourice started her journey as an artist in Tam Awan Village Artist (TVA) . Her first artwork was dedicated to her mom entitled “Inday” and it was exhibited at SM Baguio City
Lourice has been sketching as long she can remember .As a child,she was inspired by the artworks of her mom who loves to sketch nature and landscape . Primarily self taught artist , Lourice uses surrealism approach and prefers acrylic in her artworks. Aside from being an artist, Lourice can also sew and design clothes . She uses her artworks to design on dresses and bags.
Difficulties in explaining herself, Lourice finds her own way by expressing/showing her inner self through lines and colors.
It is her art reflecting the depth of expression and a way of communication. Imperfections of a person inspires her to continue her passion in painting. She believes that our flaws are the ground of our being which makes us shining and unique.
