Clinton Aniversario
Visual Artist

Clinton is a registered medical technologist who chose to pursue his passion for art, becoming a full-time avant-garde artist. His diverse works include paintings, sculptures, found-object collages, use of vintage and alternative process of photography and mixed-media assemblages. . Deeply rooted in his Igorot heritage, his tribal-inspired sculptures and festival art installations reflect his cultural identity. Based in Bakakeng Baguio City and his parents are from Mountain Province, Clinton’s art explores themes of balance, light, and darkness, often with a whimsical touch. He serves as a wood carving facilitator at Tam-awan Village, emphasizing the fusion of technical skill and creative freedom in his craft. He also fabricates old style cameras and clintonize his subjects. He pioneers Clintonization.
Raised in Baguio City where he trained as a medical technologist, Aniversario consequently decided to pursue his art practice. He has had several solo and group exhibitions in Baguio City and in Metro Manila ncluding Tam-awan Village, Victor Oteyza Community Art Space (VOCAS), Art Cube Gallery, Gallery Anna, The Oarhouse, and the Ayala Museum’s Art Space. His works have also been shown in Singapore and at Gangwon Art Fair in South Korea in 2016.
