PANGKAT
Pangkat consists of contemporary visual artists Abril Valdemoro, Buhay Mendoza, Jade Alfonso Cabauatan, Jerico de Leon, Jessa Balag, Jun Tuplano Adan Pesito, Ace Enriquez, Jovan Barandino, Jerry Jimenez, Marte Goyon and Abe Orobia. The works of Pangkat remind us of the breadth and depth of diverse practices in art. Having individual projects, narratives, and interests, these artists show how they translate personal work into painting and sculpture.
As the artists’ visions supplement our experiences of the mundane and focus on the extraordinariness of the unremarkable, we are always led to seeing something new, something else. Through the works, one can experience snippets of life from the arstists’ perpective.
