Of the many traditions of the Cordilleras is the centuries-old art of making rice out of wine.

Tapey, as it is called in the local dialect, is an important part of the Cordilleran life. It is an essential element ever present in rituals, marriages, and many other special occasions.

The 11th Tam-awan International Arts Festival presents one of its artists, Eden Cawang. Watch her as she demonstrates her craft in rice-wine making.
