About Me

Jessie Marie Esteban

Visual Artist

Baguio based aspiring artist with dreams of becoming a chef too.

Jessie Esteban, has been honing, developing, and exploring her style, technique and skills in film photography, and acrylic painting for the past several years. For her, the world is filled with many paths and many oppurtunities to grow and she applies these as her style in making her pieces, making it textured with lines, speckles, and layers of paints. She used these techniques to describe the essential harmony she sees around her and what she feels.

Starting with blank canvass, she first make the texture before adding her background colors, sketches and other ideas she may come along while making her piece then gradually, all forms emerge.

From a young age, Jessie’s weak eyesight (lazy eye) trained her eyes to see things or forms differently – distorted, blurry, and flashing of colors and lights. That’s what made her paintings different.
